British Open Golf Cruise 13th to 24th July 2013
Your GolfAhoy 2013 British Open Golf Cruise will include 5 rounds of golf in three different countries –Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. This 11 night golf cruise schedule is designed for golfers and non-golfers alike.
After gathering in Ireland on Saturday 13th of July, we’ll begin with tours of Dublin and play at 2006 Ryder Cup host, the K-Club before sailing to Belfast.
Ahead for the golfers are world #5 Royal County Down, The Carrick on Loch Lomond in its magnificent setting, Scottish Open host Castle Stuart (#56 ) and Kingsbarns (#54 ) in St Andrews.
Non-golfers will explore the Scottish Highlands, Edinburgh and St Andrews plus a full day in Hamburg, Germany. All will enjoy the final round drama of the 142nd British Open Championship at Muirfield.

14 July, Sunday: DUBLIN, IRELAND Golf: Golf today at the K Club – Palmer Course. This beautiful parkland course was designed by Arnold Palmer and hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup. The course covers an area of mature woodland to which fourteen lakes have been added. Ranked regularly in the top 3 parkland golf courses in Ireland. 15 July, Monday: BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND Golf: Today play at Royal County Down. Located in the town of Newcastle to the south of Belfast. Consistently ranked in the top 10 courses in the world, this is a true test of links golf set against the magnificent backdrop of the Mountains of Mourne. 16 July, Tuesday: GREENOCK, SCOTLAND Golf: Play today at The Carrick on Loch Lomond. The course follows traditional Scottish heathland style and uses every inch of the dramatic landscape straddling the fault lines between the Scottish lowlands and highlands with nine holes set in each. Some of the elevated holes offer spectacular views of Loch Lomond to the west and Ben Lomond to the north. 17 July, Wednesday: THE WESTERN ISLES, SCOTLAND Enjoy cruising at Sea Overnight: At Sea 18 July, Thursday: INVERGORDON, SCOTLAND Golf: Today play Castle Stuart Golf Links. The newest addition to the Links Courses of Scotland. Castle Stuart runs along the shores of the Moray Firth to the east ofInverness with wonderful views over to the Black Isle. Six holes hug the shoreline while the remaining holes are played over a terraced slope so views out to sea are ever present. Already included in the World’s Top 100. Tour: Enjoy the Highlands of Scotland on your own. Overnight: At Sea 19 July, Friday: LEITH (EDINBURGH), SCOTLAND Tour: Enjoy Edinburgh on your own. 20 July, Saturday: LEITH (EDINBURGH), SCOTLAND Golf: Play today at Kingsbarns Golf Links, a World Top 100 venue. Kingsbarns Golf Links only opened for play in the year 2000, and has joined the great courses of nearby St Andrews and Carnoustie, bringing with it a new dimension to the traditional Scottish game. The course makes excellent use of the natural surroundings which will continually have you thinking it’s been around for a hundred years or more. Tour: Enjoy Edinburgh on your own. 21 July, Sunday: LEITH (EDINBURGH), SCOTLAND Tour: Attend the final round of the 142nd Open Golf Championship at Muirfield.
