GolfAhoy Golf & Cruise voyages offer to all players with a handicap of 36 or better the unique opportunity to play on some of the most beautiful golf courses in Mauritius and South Africa in the company of a PGA professional. He will take care of you on board and on land. When “on course”, he will join you on your round and may even play some of the holes with you. On board, the GolfAhoy PGA professional is your trained tutor who will work with you to perfect your technique: at the golf simulator on the indoor golf course, supported by state-of-the-art video analysis and simulation technology. And since golf is to no small degree a game played in your head, our professional also takes care of your “mental fitness”.

During the interesting talks, for example, he will explain the bio-chemical processes that occur during the stress of a tournament, how to turn them to your advantage or how to make the movements of your body fit for golf. Moreover, you will learn all about the custom fitting of golf clubs too.

Sunday, November 23rd – Mauritius
Individual travel arrangements to Mauritius. Two overnights with breakfast in the luxury hotel One & Only Le Touessrok. Located on a blue lagoon, this paradisiacal resort offers pure luxury. During the welcome drink, you will meet your GolfAhoy PGA golf professional. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy.

Monday, November 24th – Mauritius
After breakfast, you will have a transfer to the Belle Mare Plage Golf Club. Enjoy playing 18 holes on the park-like golf course with its numerous water hazards, designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Allis. Native trees and plants surround the large greens of the course, located right on the coast and opened in 2002. After your game, you will return to your hotel to spend the rest of your day at your leisure.

Tuesday, November 25th – Mauritius
After breakfast, the shuttle boat will take you to the legendary One & Only Le Touessrok Golf Club on the lle aux Cerfs. Enjoy the 18 holes of this course and its spectacular views of the ocean. The course was designed by Bernhard Langer. The small greens and broad bunkers are a true challenge. After your game, the shuttle boat will take you back to your hotel. Then you will be transferred to the embarkation for the beginning of your GolfAhoy golf cruise.

Tuesday Dec. 9th
Transfer to Cape Town airport, scheduled flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Transfer to the hotel The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City, three overnights with breakfast. This hotel belongs to the World Leading Hotels. The luxury rooms have separate living and sleeping areas.

Wednesday, Dec. 10th – Sun City
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Lost Golf Club, where you will play 18 holes in the dream-like, semi-arid landscape of South Africa’s Northwest Province. Long, difficult and magnificently beautiful, this course – like the neighboring Gary Player Country Club – was designed by South Africa’s golf legend Gary Player. After the game you will be transferred back to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy or late afternoon private game viewing safari.

Thursday, Dec. 11th – Sun City
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Gary Player Golf Club, where 18 challenging holes await you. The course, laid out in the middle of magnificent nature, is regarded as one of the best and – with a total distance of almost 7,000 meters (7,655 yards) – is one of the longest golf courses in the world. After the game, you will be transferred back to the hotel. You are free to choose how you spend the rest of the day or late afternoon private game viewing safari.

Friday, Dec. 12th, 2008 – Sun City
Individual travel arrangements from Johannesburg. Opional private diamond shopping excurision.
