We specialize in creating distinctive golf cruise vacations that combine cruising, championship-quality golf, private transportation, hotels, tours, and other travel experiences. Our goal is to make planning your golf vacation as enjoyable and straightforward as possible.

Travel involves many different companies and moving parts, so it is important that you understand the terms that apply to your reservation. We have written these Terms & Conditions in straightforward language wherever possible.

By requesting, confirming, or paying for a reservation through Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below, together with the applicable terms and conditions of the cruise line and other travel suppliers included in your vacation.

  1. Our Role as Your Travel Advisor

Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC arranges travel services on behalf of our clients.

When we arrange a cruise, hotel, airline reservation, golf experience, ground transportation, tour, shore excursion, local water transportation, or another travel service, we generally act as an agent or intermediary between you and the company actually providing that service.

These suppliers may include cruise lines, golf courses, hotels, airlines, transportation companies, tour operators, destination management companies, rental car companies, and other independent travel providers.

These companies are independent businesses and are not employees, subsidiaries, or controlled entities of Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC.

Each supplier may have its own passenger contract, cancellation rules, refund policies, liability limitations, and other terms. By purchasing services provided by a supplier, you also agree to the applicable supplier’s terms and conditions.

  1. Your Golf Cruise Itinerary

One of the pleasures of a Golf Ahoy vacation is experiencing exceptional golf destinations during your cruise.

We carefully plan our golf programs in advance; however, golf courses, ships, ports, hotels, transportation arrangements, tee times, and other itinerary components can occasionally change.

A golf course, for example, may become unavailable because of:

a professional, national, international, or private golf event;

  • course maintenance or renovation;
  • weather or course conditions;
  • operationonal requirements;
  • transport or port changes;
  • a cruise itinerary change;
  • course closure;
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control;

If a scheduled golf course becomes unavailable, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable alternative of comparable quality whenever possible.

We will also make reasonable efforts to notify affected guests of significant changes as soon as practical.

A change of golf course, port, ship itinerary, transportation provider, or other travel component does not necessarily constitute cancellation of the overall vacation.

  1. Cruise Lines May Change Their Itineraries

Cruise schedules and ports of call are controlled by the cruise line.

For safety, weather, mechanical, operational, governmental, navigational, or other reasons, a cruise line may change its itinerary, arrival or departure times, ports of call, or other elements of a sailing.

Because Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC does not control these decisions, we cannot guarantee that every published port, golf course, excursion, or activity will remain available.

When a cruise itinerary change affects one of our golf arrangements, we will make reasonable efforts to modify the golf program when practical.

  1. Golf Shore Excursions

Golf shore excursions are carefully coordinated around the cruise ship’s scheduled port times.

Golf arrangements may include advance tee times, green fees, transportation, applicable taxes or fees, and other services specifically identified in your written confirmation.

Golfers should review their individual Golf Ahoy confirmation or invoice to understand exactly what is included in their particular package.

Golf courses may change tee times, course assignments, operating procedures, cart policies, caddie requirements, dress codes, or other conditions.

Golfers are responsible for complying with the rules and policies of each golf facility.

  1. Weather and Golf

Golf is an outdoor activity, and weather conditions are beyond our control.

Rain, wind, temperature, course conditions, or other weather circumstances do not automatically qualify a guest for a refund.

When a golf course officially closes or course management determines that play cannot proceed, any refund or credit will depend upon the circumstances, the supplier’s policies, and the amounts recoverable from the golf course, transportation provider, or other applicable supplier.

If weather or another event prevents the ship from reaching a scheduled port, we will make reasonable efforts to recover refundable amounts from the affected suppliers when applicable.

  1. Reservations Are Not Confirmed Until Accepted

Submitting a reservation request, quotation request, or cabin preference does not by itself guarantee availability.

Cruise cabins, suites, hotel rooms, airline seats, golf tee times, and other travel arrangements remain subject to availability until confirmed by the applicable supplier and any required deposit has been received and processed.

Your Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC written confirmation or invoice will identify the arrangements that have been confirmed at that time.

  1. Prices, Taxes and Supplier Charges

Travel prices may include components established by cruise lines, golf courses, airlines, hotels, transportation companies, governments, port authorities, and other suppliers.

Government taxes, port charges, fuel-related charges, airline fees, currency-related costs, and other supplier-imposed charges may change.

Once we provide written confirmation and the required payment has been received, pricing will be handled according to the conditions shown on your confirmation and the applicable supplier’s terms.

Any optional services or changes requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.

  1. Deposits and Final Payment

Deposit and final-payment requirements vary according to the cruise line, hotel, golf package, tour operator, and other suppliers involved in your reservation.

Your invoice or reservation confirmation will show the applicable payment schedule.

It is important to make payments by the stated deadlines. Failure to make a required payment on time may result in cancellation of some or all of your travel arrangements and may subject the reservation to supplier cancellation penalties.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans sometimes change.

If you need to cancel, please notify Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC in writing as soon as possible.

Cruises and other travel arrangements may become partially or completely non-refundable as the departure date approaches. Cancellation penalties are generally determined by the cruise line or other supplier and can, in some circumstances, reach 100% of the amount paid.

Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC must also honor contractual commitments made to suppliers on your behalf.

Unless your written confirmation provides otherwise, requests for cancellation should be received by Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC no later than 30 days before the applicable final-payment date if you wish to avoid entering a supplier’s later cancellation period.

However, the actual refund available to you will always depend upon the terms applicable to your individual reservation and the suppliers involved.

No refund is normally available for a guest who fails to appear for travel, voluntarily leaves a cruise or tour after it has begun, or does not use an included service.

  1. Travel Insurance Is Strongly Recommended

Unexpected events can occur before or during even the best-planned vacation.

For this reason, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance, including appropriate trip cancellation and interruption coverage.

Depending upon the policy selected, travel insurance may provide protection for circumstances involving:

  • trip cancellation or interruption;
  • illness or injury;
  • emergency medical treatment;
  • emergency evacuation;
  • baggage loss or delay;
  • travel delays;
  • other covered events.

Insurance benefits, exclusions, deadlines, pre-existing-condition provisions, and eligibility requirements vary by policy.

When travel protection is offered in connection with your reservation, you may be required to accept or decline coverage within a specified period. Certain insurance benefits may only be available when coverage is purchased within a particular period after the initial trip deposit.

Please read the insurance policy carefully and direct coverage questions to the insurance provider.

  1. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements

Every traveler is personally responsible for having the documentation required for the entire itinerary.

Depending upon your citizenship and destinations, this may include:

  • a valid passport;
  • visas;
  • entry or transit authorizations;
  • health documentation;
  • vaccination documentation where required;
  • parental authorization for minors; and
  • other immigration or travel documents.

Passport validity requirements can extend beyond the final date of your trip.

Because entry requirements can change and vary according to citizenship, travelers should verify requirements with the appropriate government authorities, embassies, or consulates well before departure.

A cruise line, airline, government, or other authority may deny boarding or entry when a traveler does not have the required documentation.

Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC cannot be responsible for costs or losses resulting from a traveler’s failure to obtain or carry the required documents.

  1. Your Cruise Line Passenger Contract

Every cruise passenger travels subject to the cruise line’s passenger ticket contract or cruise ticket contract.

That contract contains important provisions concerning your rights and responsibilities and the cruise line’s obligations, cancellation provisions, liability limitations, claims procedures, and other legal matters.

Please read your cruise line’s passenger contract carefully before travel.

  1. Independent Travel Suppliers

Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC selects and arranges services from independent travel suppliers, but we do not operate or control those businesses.

Accordingly, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, delays, schedule changes, cancellations, failures, negligence, or other conduct of third-party suppliers, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Examples include actions or failures involving cruise lines, airlines, hotels, golf courses, transportation providers, tour operators, excursion companies, and other independent businesses.

The supplier providing a service remains responsible for that service according to its own contract and applicable law.

  1. Events Beyond Our Control

Travel can occasionally be affected by circumstances that neither Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC nor the traveler can reasonably control.

Examples may include severe weather, hurricanes, fires, floods, natural disasters, strikes, labor disruptions, civil disturbances, governmental actions, public-health events, port closures, transportation disruptions, mechanical problems, war, terrorism, or similar extraordinary events.

When such an event occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to assist our clients and work with affected suppliers.

Refunds, credits, itinerary modifications, and alternative arrangements will depend upon the circumstances and the policies of the suppliers involved.

  1. Limitations of Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC is not responsible for loss, injury, death, delay, property damage, disappointment, inconvenience, or additional expense resulting from the acts or omissions of independent travel suppliers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where permitted by law, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC’s liability relating to services arranged through us will not exceed the gross amount actually paid by the traveler directly to Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC for the applicable transaction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from travel arrangements or use of our website.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

  1. Accuracy of Travel Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information.

However, much of the information displayed on our website or included in travel materials originates with cruise lines, golf courses, hotels, tourism organizations, transportation companies, and other third-party suppliers.

Schedules, photographs, descriptions, amenities, pricing, policies, golf-course information, ship information, and other details can change.

Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC therefore cannot guarantee that every item of third-party information will always be complete, current, or error-free.

If an important feature of a vacation is essential to your decision to travel, please ask us to verify it before booking.

  1. Your Written Confirmation

After your reservation is made, Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC or the applicable travel supplier will provide confirmation of the arrangements.

Please review your confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it.

Check:

  • passenger names and spelling;
  • sailing dates;
  • ship and cabin category;
  • hotel dates;
  • golf arrangements;
  • transportation arrangements;
  • pricing;
  • deposits;
  • final-payment dates; and
  • other important reservation details.
  • Please contact us promptly if you believe something is incorrect.

Your written confirmation, together with these Terms & Conditions and applicable supplier agreements, forms part of the agreement governing your reservation.

Changes to confirmed arrangements should be documented in writing.

  1. Responsible Use of Our Website

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions, use of our website, or services provided by Golf Ahoy Golf Cruises LLC will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate state or federal courts serving Whatcom County, Washington.

  1. If Part of These Terms Cannot Be Enforced

If a court determines that any provision of these Terms & Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
