Jack and I are back in Las Vegas after a really wonderful 10-night GolfAhoy trip to Bermuda & the Colonial South (our second golf cruise with GolfAhoy) on the Regent Seven Seas NAVIGATOR.

I thought that we should report on the trip.

Using Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale before the cruise worked out really well.

Boarding the cruise ship was easy, quick, and efficient.

Our Suite was really elegant and everything on board the ship was first class. It is the nicest ship we have ever traveled on. The food and service were all excellent.

Now for the golfing experience!

With the exception of the Cable Beach Golf Course in Nassau, the Bahamas, all the courses you booked for us were very nice.

Cable Beach was not much better than a cow pasture. Really in bad shape as it is going to be torn down soon and has not been maintained.

Also, we had to handle our own clubs. On board the NAVIGATOR no one ever offered to help us with our golf bags. We had to carry them the length of the ship from our Suite, down the ramp to the dock, and then to the parking area to get to the GolfAhoy transportation van.

There were other golfers on board the ship, that was not part of our GolfAhoy golf cruise group. They were totally on their own to try to make golf arrangements in each port we visited. No one on the ship helped them either. They had to phone around for tee times and taxis to get them to golf courses.

The GolfAhoy group we were with was really compatible.

All in all, we enjoyed our trip, but our Hawaii golf cruise with you was a better one in terms of golf.
