We had a wonderful time on the GolfAhoy Hawaii golf cruise.

The boat is a great experience and being our first cruise we will certainly cruise again. Our accommodation was first class as was Cory (onboard Golf Pro). The limo transfer man (Kevin) was extremely helpful and very professional.

We probably organized one too many golf games, but that was our doing. An extra day of sightseeing would have been good.

On a downside, we found Turtle Bay Resort to be isolated, extremely windy (the locals told us it is always windy) and limited in what we were able to do. Sitting around a pool is not our scene and only one of the golf courses is up to standard. The Fazio course is very ‘resort’ in design and not at all up to the Palmer course.

I guess my comments are based on the very fact that we can sit by a pool, or beach, in Australia at any time. So to travel to the USA and apply what we can do back in Aussie is the basis of my Turtle Bay comments. I can imagine that American people would warm to Turtle Bay but would be surprised if Aussies felt the same. But in saying this, it all depends on what the individual is looking for. The four days with more variety would have been more productive in our total 5 weeks traveling in the USA.

The golf cruise helped us get over Turtle Bay.

Please pass on our regards to Cory and Kevin.

Once again thanks for your input during our time in Hawaii and we will talk again.
